And above being polished, in reflection of the imagination
It has to be honest, with a casual or eccentric
A text all has to be authentic
An entity tailored to address the senses

Yes it's more than poetry
It's more than making a wish
Granting words that come on above
Of all you envision
Need syllables are physical vibration
Therefore mechanical tools of creation
That cause devastation
A source of entertainment
A force that steers the nations
So vivaciously vocalize a vanguard variety
Of vows and continence
And examine how they all carry consequence

Because it's more than poetry
And these words are acoustic
But they are no prisoner to bars of music
Because emphasis is like a fugitive
Fleeing to wherever the expression matters most
A contemporary element hidden on the period table
Next to H2O
Cause they emulate waves in the way they ebon flow
To a timing of their own
So it's conducting segments of speech over melody
And instrumental counts, when broken down
Are simply known as spoken songs
