Video premiere: Sia's new clip Alive is powerful, but sensitive

While recently released Bird Set Free, Australian pop singer-songwriter Sia premiered the video premiere for her powerful single Alive. Lifted from the This Is Acting record studio, the song now enjoys a powerful, but still sensitive clip that features a young martial artist while practicing her striking moves in an abandoned warehouse.

While recently released Bird Set Free, Australian pop singer-songwriter Sia premiered the video premiere for her powerful single Alive. Lifted from the This Is Acting record studio, the song now enjoys a powerful, but still sensitive clip that features a young martial artist while practicing her striking moves in an abandoned warehouse. Wearing a half black and half white wig, the character resembles the recently-revealed artwork for Sia's upcoming album, This Is Acting. Alive was co-written with Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr., and was initially planned for inclusion on Adele’s upcoming chart-behemoth 25. This Is Acting, due for release on January 29th, is a collection of tracks that Sia wrote with other artists in mind.
