U2's new single Invisible which also featured as Bank of America's Super Bowl commercial, is free to download for one day

With the support of everyone downloading U2's latest single 'Invisible' released this Sunday, Feb. 2nd as a Super Bowl XLVIII commercial, Bank of America will donate $1 —up to $2 million— to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It also featured as Bank of America's Super Bowl commercial.

Entitled 'Invisible', the track (available for free download until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 3rd) is markedly simple number compared to much of U2's recent output, relying on simple keyboard movements to get to the chorus. Bono reserves his vocal power for that refrain, where he unleashes his declaration that “I'm more than you know / I'm more than you see here / I'm more than you'll let me be”.

Speaking to USA Today, Bono said 'Invisible' is not the first official single off the 13th album. “We have another song we’re excited about to kick off the album,” he explained. “This is just sort of a sneak preview — to remind people we exist.”

Though originally due out in April, Bono told USA today that the band will continue to work on the album “for a couple of months” with the hope to have it out by the summer.
