The Houston rapper Travi$ Scott charged with disorderly conduct after Lollapalooza set on Saturday. He only performed on stage for 5 minutes, and during that time he urged fans to a riot over the security guards. Many have taken his words and managed to get up on stage as lots posted on Instagram photos from the event showing fans on stage.
Soon after 5-minute performance on Saturday’s Lollapalooza set, rapper Travi$ Scott was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after he urged fans to join him on stage and encouraged the crowd to go over the security barriers. He reportedly asked fans to climb the security barriers and actually told everyone to have a middle finger up to the security. He practicaly told them to ignore the security and incite them to a riot. Still, none of that happened, as reports says: "Due to the security’s quick response, the situation was remedied immediately and no fans were injured. The performer fled the scene and was taken into custody a short while later."
Scott was reportedly issued a misdemeanor charge for reckless conduct and was released Sunday. "Fans jumped the barricade into the security pit at Lollapalooza during Travis Scott’s performance on Saturday," Lollapalooza organizers C3 Presents said in a statement. "The situation was resolved quickly and no patrons were injured. Operations have resumed as normal. Chicago Police are handling the matter."
On Sunday, Travi$ took time and posted on his Instagram profile his thanks for everyone who attended the Lollapalooza and send them his love.
We’re still not convinced if that’s how a good concert should be like, and hope the rapper learnt a lot from it as he previously stated. See the video below, and debate it.
