St. Vincent delivers new single Digital Witness

St. Vincent delivers new single Digital Witness, a beautiful jam which is set to appear on her February record released via Republic Records. Watch the audio YouTube clip below.

American musician St. Vincent (by her real name Annie Clark) has unleashed a new single titled "Digital Witness", an uptempo funk jam which follows the recent single "Birth in Reverse" , both set to be included on the self titled 11-track record.

The 31-year old singer-songwriter signed to Republic Records near the end of 2013, and is now ready to debut the new material on February 25th. The newly released beautiful track Digital Witness enjoys a nice YouTube clip which you may watch below.

Annie Clark recently said that "the groove needed to be paramount" on her new record. To achieve that, she recorded St. Vincent with Dap Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and Midlake percussionist McKenzie Smith. "I wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral," she said, which may explain some of the caustic lyrics on "Digital Witness". Lyrics complete Digital Witness
