New Zealand singer Lorde launched Team music video in which she features as the queen of some teenagers living in some ruins. Catchy and kinda dark visuals, check out
The "Royals" 17-year-old songstress LORDE launched on December 3rd the music video supporting her single "Team". The new clip features Lorde as the queen of a rebel teenagers group in which can only be part after some motorcycle battle initiation. Living in some ruins, near dock teenagers also seem to treat water as something priceless, as they all drink from the same bottle.
Landing as the second single off her Pure Heroine debut album, "Team" sounds pretty good. Her album was recently named by Rolling Stone seventh best album in 2013! Meanwhile, New Zealand singer took home last week four awards at the 2013 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards for Single of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, People's Choice Award and International Achievement.
About the newly released video, she shared via Facebook: "This video was borne from a dream i had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initiations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was queen," Ella Yelich-O'Connor posted on Tuesday. "i dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plants and ruins and sweat. and of this world, i dreamt about tests that didn’t need to be passed in order to be allowed in: sometimes the person who loses is stronger. enjoy xx"
