New Music: How To Dress Well unveiled Running Back track

While Tom Krell and his band performed for the new single first time in a live session at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel, How To Dress Well recently debuted 'Running Back' in its studio version. This is another new song from his upcoming album Total Loss.

While Tom Krell and his band performed for the new single first time in a live session at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel, How To Dress Well recently debuted "Running Back" in its studio version.

This is another new song from his upcoming album Total Loss which was recorded as a tribute to the RnB chanteuse Ashanti. He even borrowed some lyrics from her single hit "Foolish", who along with Janet Jackson, looms large in Krell's deconstructed RnB ambience.

Along with Krell's lilting falsetto, "Running Back" features a simple MPC beat, a gently picked guitar melody, and a bit of finger-snapping. The song is more subdued than the recently unleashed "& It Was U", but each new leak increases our anticipation for the album.

Total Loss will be released by Weird World worldwide on September 17th and by Acephale North American on September 18th.
