Led Zeppelin premiere the remastered video of classic song Whole Lotta Love (Rough Mix With Vocal). Take a listen to it inside!

A brand new video that comprises footage from several live performances of Led Zeppelin’s  classic song Whole Lotta Love has made it online. It’s actually a newer version, entitled Rough Mix With Vocal, and it features on an expanded version of 'Led Zeppelin II', which is being released alongside similar reissues of 'Led Zeppelin I' and 'Led Zeppelin III'.

Guitarist Jimmy Page is the one who already seen the remastered additional tracks for the three reissued albums, set to be released next month June 2nd. He shared about this Rough Mix With Vocal: "It's the mix from the night we recorded it, so it doesn't have any of the overdubs everyone will be familiar with." And we liked it, take a listen to it below.

Led Zeppelin's ‘Whole Lotta Love’ Rough Mix With Vocal video:

Singer Robert Plant said that through the stripped-down performance, "you can see how songs grow. There must have been five or six other takes of that, which are not present. So the shaping of these things is very interesting, and you can hear with this particular version that we haven't quite reached the point yet, and that it's very, very close."

Bassist John Paul Jones added: "'Whole Lotta Love' must have been very early on its life [in this version], so it probably hadn't developed into the juggernaut that it became in later years. But it's fresher, I think."
