English synth-pop singer’s La Roux new track Uptight Downtown just surfaced online, being played for the very first time on BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show and he named it the Hottest Record. Uptight Downtown was co-written by Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid is confirmed as the first official single from the duo’s upcoming second studio album called Trouble In Paradise, due to be released on digital retailers on July 7, 2014 via Polydor Records.

The song is too hot, its openning part is too cool and sounds more radio-friendly than their previous single Let Me Down Gently, and you can listen to it in here.
