Superstar rapper Eminem has reportedly confirmed that he's currently recording some music with eccentric pop singer Lady Gaga, a track which will "definitely" see the release as a single.

ImageThe star, who's featured with singers such as Rihanna and Dido in the past, has allegedly penned a new track called "Street Lights", which will feature New York-based rapper Kendrick Lamar, as well.

It was MTV RapFix which earlier reported the news. According to them, Eminem said: "Yeah, I got this crazy record with Gaga and Kendrick for the upcoming LP. Its called 'Street Lights', and its just a real upbeat record. We don't have a release date yet, but it'll be after Slaughterhouse's album."

The news is rather surprising as Eminem has dissed Lady Gaga in tracks in the past (he uses the line "Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She's still a male lady" in his track "A Kiss"), but the rapper has now claimed that jokes like that are just part of what hip-hop is about - saying: "That was one of them things where sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world. You know, it's all in fun, it's hip-hop."

While Gaga is set to release her recently announced ARTPOP album, rumours about including this new track on the record have started to spread. Meanwhile,  Eminem's upcoming album is also a posibility to include the "Street Lights" single. For the moment, no official words was given.
