In the wake of devastating fires across Los Angeles County, the community is rallying together to support recovery efforts. On February 8, the “I Love LA” Eaton Fire Relief benefit concert will bring together a star-studded lineup at the Glendale Presbyterian Church for an evening of music and unity.

Organized by Sid The Cat, Mike Viola, and Tyler Chester, the concert promises performances from renowned artists such as Andrew Bird, Bright Eyes, and David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors. Joining them on stage will be Delicate Steve, Ethan Tasch, Jim James, Kelcey Ayer, Kevin Morby, Lucius, Madison Cunningham, The Milk Carton Kids, Molly Burch, Strawberry Guy, Uwade, and Watkins Family Hour, with more special guests yet to be announced.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, providing financial assistance to musicians impacted by the Eaton Fire. This includes covering the loss of equipment, medical expenses, and living costs caused by the disaster.

The benefit concert is part of a broader wave of relief efforts in the area. Another major event, FireAid, is set to take place on January 30 at the Inuit Dome and Kia Forum in Los Angeles, with performances by Lady Gaga, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Katy Perry, Sting, No Doubt, and many more.

In addition to the live music events, Hit the North Records, an independent Los Angeles label, has released a compilation album titled Love Los Angeles. Proceeds from the album will go to the Mutual Aid LA Network (MALAN) to further support wildfire relief. Contributors to the album include The Album Leaf, Shannon Lay, Matt Pond PA, and Carriers, among others.

Tickets for the “I Love LA” concert are now on sale.
